Department Of Urdu: A Profile

Urdu being the official language of UT(JK) has immense importance. All the regions of J&K are connected by the lovely and common language, the department of Urdu GDC Magam endeavor’s hard to teach the language in the original form, correct pronunciation and presentation of the language is always kept in the mind by the teaching staff. The department of Urdu is committed to teach the students the language in its literary and spiritual sense. The students are encouraged by publishing their literary work in college magazine. Writing of Urdu directly and legibly is also our day to day program of teaching. 

Students Profile Program/ Course Outcome:

• After graduation students can take admission for P.G Urdu, Mass media & law.

• Students shall be eligible for KAS, IAS & Other competitive exams.

• Urdu students can choose the career option in revenue department, Prasar Bharti broadcasting corporation (PBBC), All India Radio and different private and local channels such as Gulistan, ANNS, Sen Channel, JK Channel, Q TV & E Tv Urdu. C S
