About Us
Government Degree College Magam is one of the young but rapidly developing colleges of Jammu and Kashmir.
It was established in the year 2011. and started functioning in 2012.
Since its establishment, the college was functioning in a makeshift arrangement in the premises of
Higher Secondary School Magam with few classrooms offering only some B.A. courses. Thereafter,
the own college campus (spreading over 74.18 kanals of land) was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of
the J&K sate on 8th August 2017 and various additional programmes
